Depression is something that we think we have to deal with alone, but we dont have too! There are so many resources we can in counter to tackle this. Let’s work on this together!

The most common resources is movement! Sure depression can be treated with antidepressants and medications but exercise is an option with many benefits and is also proven by a lot of supportive research.
HOW DOES THIS HELP??
Exercise will help release good endorphins, this is a natural chemical that enhances your senses.
It also takes your mind off anything that is bothering you
Can get more social interactions.

THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN STARTING TO EXERCISE TO TREAT DEPRESSION
Schedule workouts s head of time
If you wait until you feel like exercising, you will never get to your workout. SOO having a set schedule will help breka that cycle of no exericse days. But make sure to be flexible so it doesn’t feel like a job (Mayo Clinic).
Set reasonable goals
Reachable goals that are personally shaped to you are more reasonable than unrealistic goals that dont tend to you (Mayo Clinic).
Do something that you enjoy
Finding something is interesting cna help you stay on track with working out. It will not even feel like you’re exercising and more like an enjoyable activity in your day (Mayo Clinic).
Meet yourself where you are
Make sure if yore starting out or even getting back into the swing of things to not demanding so much in a little time. A 15 min to 10 min workout to get into the routine of exercise can help produce even the slightest positive effect on subsiding depression (Mayo Clinic)
Do it with other
If you start to do an activity with your friends it can keep you on track and boost your confidents ( Mayo Clinic).
